Lori Loughlin was born Lori Anne Loughlin on the 28th of July 1964 in Queens, New York. She became a Hollywood star when she appeared as Rebecca Donaldson opposite hunk John Stamos in the ABC hit sitcom Full House. Just recently, she was seen in another ABC sitcom In Case of Emergency, playing the role of Dr. Joanna Lupone.

Lori Loughlin grew up in Oceanside, New York and graduated from the Oaks Elementary School #3 and from the Hauppauge High School in Hauppauge, Long Island, New York. At the age of 12, while still studying, she started a career in print model. At the same time, Lori was also seen in several television commercials, which included the national ad Sears catalog and the Bradlees flyers. Then in 1979, Lori Loughlin appeared on television in the Tab Cola commercial.

At the age of 15, Lori Loughlin was seen in the soap the Edge of Night, by ABC, where she played the role of aspiring dancer, Jody Travis. When she was 18, with the encouragement of her co-star Joel Crothers, she decided to try acting in feature films and other television roles. Then she landed the role of Rebecca Donaldson in Full House. She was also seen in the sitcom Seinfeld, playing the character of Jerry’s girlfriend, and in the sitcom Spin City.

After Full House, in 1997, Lori Loughlin was seen in the movie In the Line of Duty: Blaze of Glory, where she was seen opposite Bruce Campbell. She also landed the role of the superhero Black Canary in the series Birds of Prey. In 2002, she landed a role opposite Treat Williams in the thriller Critical Mass by Fred Olen Ray.

Aside from acting, Lori Loughlin has also shown talent and skills for producing. From 2004 to 2005, she acted, produced and co-created the dramatic series Summerland. In this series, she played the role of Ava, the aunt to three children who lost their parents to an accident.

In 2007, Lori Loughlin played the role of Joanna, opposite actor David Arquette in ABC’s In Case of Emergency. She is also expected to appear in the movie Moondance Alexander, opposite Kay Panabaker.
